- First assistant for variety of vascular surgical procedures conventional and minimally invasive procedures. Responsible for admissions, discharges, daily rounds as well as seeing patients in the office. Preceptor for a variety of surgical residents, medical students, podiatry residents and physician assistant students. Can independently open harvest saphenous vein, cephalic and basilic vein. Some experience with endoharvest techniques. Can independently dissect femoral artery, axillary, and popliteal arteries.

Testing human subjects, measuring tactile sensation (vibratory thresholds) at various frequencies and temperatures over the thenar eminence and the forearm. Immunocytochemistry on pacinian corpuscles surgically harvested from the feline mesentery.
